Emil Mitev is an art director at DreamWorks Animation, and has worked as a visual devleopment artist on four of their feature films. Although not credited for his work in Rise of the Guardians, Emil's work can seen in the official art book, The Art of Rise of the Guardians.

He studied MFA, Set and Costume Design at the National Academy of Fine Arts, Sofia, Bulgaria, and previously worked as a conceptual designer and visual development artist at DreamWorks (2006-2008), a location designer, layout supervisor, and workbook supervisor at Universal Studios (2003-2006), a layout artist and workbook artist at Walt Disney Animation Studios (2000-2003), and a visual devleopment artist, layout artist, and workbook artist at Warner Bros. Animation (1995-2000).
