Kathleen Thorson Good is a Story Artist at DreamWorks Animation and although she is not credited for working on Rise of the Guardians, she did development work with the previous team working on the project and made two unused storyboards for the film.
Kat preivously worked as an intern for 3 months at Turner Feature Animation in 1995, working on visual development, storyboard, rough animation, and assistant animation. She then moved on to work for Walt Disney Animation Studios (1996-2002) as an animation assistant and worked on 6 of their feature films. Kat was employed by DreamWorks Animation for one year (2002-2003) as an animation assistant on Sinbad: Legend of the Seven Seas, after which she was fully employed by the studio in 2003 and worked on 3 more of their feature films.
Kat studied Art/Art Studies, General at the University of California, Santa Barbara (1991-1993) and Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA), Character animation at California Institute of the Arts (1993-1996) and also a guest lecturer for Storyboarding at SAS Athens, Greece, in 2011 as part of her teaching experience.
