Lunar Moths are native inhabitants of the Earth's moon, the lunar moths become protectors of the baby MiM. When MiM was still very small, a moth came to him every night and flew him into the stars so he could see his parent's constellation. The Lunar Moths remain MiM's constant friends to this day.

Lunar Moths are gigantic moths with blue wings and a purple body. They also have a soft, woolly back that makes it comfortable to fly on them.

The Lunar Moths are some of the residents in the Moon Clipper. Every night after the battle with the Nightmare King, one of the Lunar Moths would circle the Moon with MiM on its back. They will stay flying long enough for MiM to see his parents' constellation. [1]
